2019: Hospitalized with sepsis
Her Story
While Palveshey has received many accolades and built a heroic resume, ultimately the biggest challenge she faced in her adult life was realizing that her race to receive titles and wealth left her depressed, addicted to drugs, and unable to face severe trauma from her past as a homeless youth. She had everything she ever wanted— a spouse, a beautiful house with a white picket fence, a lucrative career— and yet, she was completely miserable. Things took a turn for the worse in 2019, when due to her poor health she was hospitalized with a severe case of sepsis.
Several months after her life-threatening scare, Palveshey committed to transforming her life in the direction of health, joy, and purpose. Along the way, she was exposed to the power of psilocybin mushrooms, which gave her the self-awareness to heal her relationship to the past, take responsibility for the hurt she had caused herself and others, and ultimately discover the spiritual connection that is the bedrock for all of the work she does today.
